Southeast of Cusco and high up in the hearth of the Andean range, there is the second largest glacier system of Peru, a unique landscape, eroded by glaciers and populated by one of the last shepherding communities in the world. The Llamichus and Pacocheros are children of the mountain gods. Here in an effort to share with the world this unique place, we have constructed Tambos so travelers would not have to stay in tents as they experience our world .
