Full day Southern Valley of Cusco - Weaving demostration and Pisac

Drive  along the Southern Valley of Cusco, geologically the Valley was a large lake,  the small lagoon of Huacarpay is a remaining of it , our first stop will be to visit the Chapel of Andahuaylillas, where the original decoration of wall paintings made in the XVI and XVII centuries, was followed by oil on canvas, work of  Indian painters enhanced by magnificent baroque stile wooden gilded frames of the XVIII century, the quality of the work has made this church one of the best examples of Cusco Colonial art.. Then we drive to San Salvador , where a group of weavers of the Chawaytire community will demonstrate their art using traditional back strap looms.. After a delicious picnic lunch we´ll continue to Pisac.. which is located at 31Km from Cusco. A walk over ancient Inca trails, To observe an incredible sequence of terraces, housing areas and a red andesite Temples.

I n the actual town  we can visit  a most colorful scene-The Awesome Pisac Market, on Tuesday, Thursday and  Sunday.
Back to Cusco.
